NEVER a dull encounter between the two, Saturday's match-up with West Tyne League leaders Haydon Bridge and Wylam is expected to be a cracker.
Reigning champions Bridge are again leading the way and are yet to be beaten as they sit 14 points clear of second placed Humshaugh.
But visitors Wylam will look to dent their rivals' charge and look to get back on track after losing to Stocksfield II last time the rain stayed away.
Stocksfield's seconds go looking to build on the morale boosting victory but have a tough task as they welcome second placed Humshaugh who slipped to their first defeat against Hexham Leazes.
Leazes, meanwhile, play host to an Allendale team finding their form and werre celebrating a second win in the league when they beat Prudhoe.
A third 2014 victory is in the sights of Prudhoe though and they welcome Mitford on Saturday, their visitors' only win of the season coming last time out against Stamfordham.
The latter are at home to Matfen Hall, while struggling Haltwhistle greet Benwell Hill III.
Division Two surprise packages Medomsley look to maintain their unbeaten run in their debut campaign as they go on the road to fellow newcomers Newcastle III.
It is tight at the top of the division with just 11 points separating the top seven teams, but the nearest challengers are Newton and Wark who meet in the North Tyne in a crunch game.
South Northumberland 1864 are down in fourth but wil hope to close the gap, although they are at home to sixth placed Hexham Leazes II.
In fifth, Mitford look to pick up the points with a home game with second bottom Stocksfield III while Belsay, occupying the last position in the top half, are at bottom club Stocksfield IV.
Humshaugh II area at Allendale II and Wylam II are preparing for the visit of Halthwistle II.
