Unbeaten Tynedale on their travels

TYNEDALE take their unbeaten record to Lanchester on Saturday looking to keep up their early season form.

Although the Northumberland and Tyneside Senior League frontrunners have only managed three from their seven opening fixtures, they boast a 100 per cent record while also impressing in cup competitions.

On the back of two big wins versus Swalwell and Shotley Bridge, they head to County Durham full of confidence of overcoming their fifth placed hosts.

This will be followed up by a home game with Leadgate in the League Cup on Sunday, Tyne expected to pick up the win against the bottom side.

Ponteland have two wins to their name from the four games played but hope to make it a treble when they travel to third bottom Burnopfield.

Over in Division B1, Tynedale II aim to get one over Lanchester II, and Ponteland II host Backworth II who are second from the bottom.
