Pub revives mini music festival

AFTER an absence of a number of years, a traditional music event will return to Langley’s Cart’s Bog Inn.

Owners Stuart Davison and Jenny Porteous are reviving Bogstock Mini Festival, with local musical talent playing at the pub over two days.

The event, which will double up as a real ale festival offering customers 20 ales and ciders, will be held at the pub on Friday, August 3, and Saturday, August 4.

The opening evening will see acts The Proper Boys and The Promise entertain the crowds, with The Hairy Beavers and Three Til Midnight performing on the Saturday. The action gets under way at 6pm on both nights.

Miss Porteous said: “For us, it is quite a big thing to bring a local event back to the community, and it will make the pub more of a social place for local people to meet.”
