THREE goals in the opening half hour of their tie with rivals Ponteland United on Saturday saw Wallington book their place in the League Cup final.
Strikes from Justin Millican, Josh Gilmartin and Sam Walton earned them a 3-0 victory over their foes, with either Heaton Stannington or Blyth Isabella awaiting them in the Kicks Leisure George Dobbins showdown.
In Northern Alliance Division One, Hexham lost to a late goal as they went down 4-3 at home to struggling Newcastle University.
Half of the Hexham and District Sunday League beat the snow with Hexham Phoenix securing a vital three points with a narrow 3-2 success over Wylam Brewery.
Prudhoe Town defeated Rose and Crown Bellingham 6-2, while Barrasford and Allendale shared six goals.
Division Two leaders Bardon Mill signed off with a 6-1 success over Swinburne Arms Stamfordham, and Newbrough Argyles and Acomb Welfare played out a 3-3 draw.

A workman was buried alive while digging a drain in the Prudhoe Urban Council's housing estate at Oaklands.
Workmates rushed to the aid of 50-year-old Richard Barclay, of Stocksfield, when the wall of the trench he was digging collapsed.
They managed to dig his head and shoulders free before finally pulling him from the earth. He was found to be suffering from shock and bruising.
