DESPITE a much improved performance, Tynedale crashed to their sixth successive defeat on Saturday at the hands of Richmond.
The 44-31 reverse leaves them 13th in National League Division One, one place above the drop zone.
A first minute try by Harry Peck, was followed by one by George McGuigan, both of which were converted by Matty Outson, who also added a penalty to make it 17-17 at half time.
The Londoners then ran away with the game, leading 41-17 at one stage, but Tyndale came back with late tries from Peter Cole and Alex Fieldhouse to claim a deserved losing bonus point.
Tynedale hope to stop the rot on Saturday, when Fylde are the visitors for a 2pm kick-off
