AN OTTERBURN teenager made a big impression when he represented Scotland recently.
Tommy Spinks caught the eye playing for the national U18 squad as he aims to make a name for himself in rugby union.
His stint with the youth side saw him perform well against Wales before being named man of the match as he lined up against England – despite Scotland losing heavily.
The performances bode well for a career in the sport, Tommy already representing Edinburgh RFC at U16. U17 and U18 level.
When not at school at Fettes College, in Edinburgh, the number eight turns out for Tynedale Colts whenever possible.
