Negative outlook

RUGBY UNION: PRUDHOE and Stocksfield moved a step closer to reaching zero points for the season.

For they are now on -1 after 11 games following the bonus point in their 18-12 reversal at home to Seaton Carew following the deduction of five points for failing to fulfil their fixture at Whitby earlier this year.

They remain in the hunt for their first win of the year when they make the trip to Wallsend tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Ponteland’s struggles in Durham and Northumberland League One continued with a 37-14 loss to Stockton. They host Blyth tomorrow.
