Spoilt for choice

AN ALLENDALE sportsman has a dilemma on his hands as he has qualified for two major championships.

Brendon Jackson, a member of Allen Valley Striders and One Life Racing, has been on fire of late and has earned the right to represent Great Britain Age Group team at both the World Duathlon Championships in Pontevedra, Spain, and the European Triathlon Championships in Kitzbuhel, in Austria.

That is where the dilemma lies as he needs to pick one to attend as he is unable to go to both.

He qualified for the World Duathlons at the Oulton Park Duathlon just this weekend, meaning the pressure is now off ahead of the upcoming Morpeth Duathlon.
