Rotary Club ready for golf day

ENTRIES are now open for one of Tynedale’s biggest charity golf events.

The Rotary Club of Tynedale’s annual golf day has raised over £138,000 in aid of worthy causes since its inception 23 years ago.

Golfers will tee-up for this year’s event, which will take place at its regular home of Prudhoe Golf Club, on Friday, September 5, in aid of the Great North Air Ambulance.

The Rotary club’s Tom Kelsey said: “Generous donations and hole sponsorship have been coming in and a wide range of prizes will be on offer for the golfers.”

To book a team of four to take part in the event, golfers are urged to contact Mr Kelsey without delay on (01434) 600372.
