THREE students at Newton’s Mowden Hall School found success in a junior cross country competition involving pupils from across the county.
The third annual event, at Longridge Towers School, near Berwick, involved more than 170 children from seven different schools and was organised by head of the junior department, Shelagh Phillips.
From Year 3 at Mowden Hall, Richard Gaisford came second for the boys and Eleanor Peel came second for the girls. And in Year 4, Harry Remnant, won the boys’ event.
