Matty at the double

HEXHAM Golf Club’s young star Matty Lamb helped England U16 to glory over Wales Boys on his international debut.
The highly rated teenager won both his individual and paired matches at the Llanwern resort to guide England to a 9-3 success.
Paired with Sussex’s Lewis George, they won their match 5&4 with a three under par score after 14 holes, before Matty went on to win his singles match 3&2.
