Honours handed out at Wentworth

ALAN Chapman, from sponsor Matthew Charlton Slaters, Wensley Roofing, presented prizes at the end of Wentworth Leisure Centre’s programme of summer leagues.
The winners of the popular five-a-side football (pictured top) Serie A summer league were Global Coalition; the winners of Serie B were Jackie's Heroes; and the winners of Serie C were Simply Unstoppable.
The winners of the Just Sport Cup were The Villains and taking the Plate competition were Sporting Beerguts.
Earlier this year, the winter leagues finished with The Villains crowning the Premier League. Division one winners were Two Scoops and Division two winners were Blanchland Bombers.
The uni-volleyball league and cup winners (pictured middle left) were The Pirates, with league runners-up The Spring Chickens. Aro Nugawela was voted female player of the year; and male player of the year was Elliott Mattock.
The uni-hoc league winners (pictured bottom left) were Soggy Bottom Six, beating off stiff competition from The Mighty Fox who finished runners-up. Plate winners were Weakest Link, with runners-up Young Guns. Cup winners were The Mighty Fox and runners-up PCUK. Female Player of the Year was Fiona Roberts, and Male Player of the Year, Ant Robinson. Female Hot Shot was Sam Burns and Male Hot Shot, Joe Speed. The winner of the Nick Dance Memorial Trophy for fair play was awarded to Martin Ridley.
