More heartache for Tynedale

Loughborough Students 19, Tynedale 18. TYNEDALE suffered yet another single point defeat on Saturday, and ended the day with a sense of burning injustice.
A George Cullen drop goal which would probably have won the day was charged down by a player who was a good two metres offside - but the officials took no action.
Most of the damage was done by former Tynedale player Andrew Hall, who landed four penalties and a conversion for the students.
Hall kicked a first minute penalty to set the ball rolling, but Tynedale came back with a seventh minute try from hooker Dave Cherry.
Matty Outson missed the conversion, but then landed a penalty, and converted a try by Ben Frankland to put Tynedale 15-3 ahead.
Then Hall got to work, making it 15-6 at half time with a penalty, before adding two more early in the second half, and then converting a try from hooker Crozier to put the students ahead
19-15 on the hour,
A Cullen penalty on 34 minutes made it 19-18 - and then came that illegally charged down drop goal.
Once again, Tynedale had to be content with a bonus point, taking their tally to 20 - a total only matched by third placed Esher.
