Last gasp heartache for Tynedale

Macclesfield 31, Tynedale 29. THE last kick of the game condemned Tynedale to defeat at fellow strugglers Macclesfield.
In a see-saw game,Tynedale led 19-3 at one stage, and there was little consolation in the fact they picked up another two bonus points - no-one has more.
Early tries from Chris Harris, Hamish Smales and Jack Harrison, two of them converted by Mattty Outson, put Tynedale in the driving seat, as Macclesfield had just one penalty to show.
But the Cheshire side came back with three unconverted tries to make it 19-18 to Tynedale at half time.
Alex Field got the bonus point try early in the second half, George Cullen converting, before a Macclesfield penalty, followed by a converted try, to make it 28-26 to the home side.
Cullen put Tynedale back in front by a single point with a penalty with 13 minutes left, but just as it seemed Tynedale had hung on, Macclesfield stroked over the winning penalty with the very last kick of the game.
