Rangers for Chop?

CHOPWELL go into tomorrow’s semi-finals tie with Gateshead Leam Rangers full of confidence.

For they defeated the same opposition 4-2 at the weekend, jumping up to third place in the Division Two charts as a result.

In their debut season in the Northern Alliance following their dominance in the second division of the Tyneside Amateur League, the newcomers are looking to challenge on all fronts.

Their pursuit of promotion at the first time of asking was helped by a double from Derek Waters, and further goals from Craig Willis and new signing Chris Muncaster.

In reply, Louis Meach and James Fenwick netted for Leam.
