For the club have announced a sponsorship package with Hexham Racecourse to celebrate the strong racing links among their ranks.

Included in the first and second team squads are former jockeys, players who own horses while recently appointed second string skipper Paul Brierley is a jockeys agent.

Humshaugh’s firsts start their season by welcoming newcomers Mitford to the league, while the seconds travel to recently relegated South Northumberland 1864.

Allendale welcome Wylam, Stocksfield II host Matfen and Benwell Hill III entertain Stamfordham.

Division Two champions Mitford II start with a home game against last season’s bottom club Stocksfield IV, while Stocksfield III host Haltwhistle II.

Allendale II mark their return to the league with a trip to Wylam II, while fellow newcomers Medomsley and Newcastle III have home games against Belsay and Newton.

Meanwhile, a trip to the North Tyne to face Wark is on the cards for Hexham Leazes II.
