IN A cracker of a match, Stocksfield U15 clinched victory in the last over against rivals Tynedale.

With Joe Johnston (44) and Jonny Tobin (34no) in fine form, Stocksfield posted a total of 97-2 for Tyne to chase, Richard Brooks (2-16) the pick of the bowlers.

Tynedale looked well off the chase at 22-5, but Dale Leadbitter (50no) brought them back into it before falling just short on 92, James Doneathy finishing with great figures of 3-16.

Tynedale battled back well to book their place in the cup semi-finals though, defeating Benwell Hill U15 with three balls remaining in a last over classic.
