A RECORD 28,200 people turned out in Corbridge on Monday for the highlight of the agricultural year, the Northumberland County Show. The sun blazed over Tynedale Park, home to Tynedale Rugby Club, as farmers, traders and entertainers enjoyed another lively day. Entries in both the industrial and agricultural sections were up, and the Forster family from Lowes Fell, Hexham, became the first in the show’s history to win the Champion of Champions accolade for the second time in a row.
