Storm debris

AS a consequence of the flash flooding we experienced on Thursday, many roads became gushing torrents of water.
The Oakwood Bank road was like a river, and as a result a considerable amount of debris and stones were deposited at the bottom of the bank.
The following day, a group of men spent all day shovelling up this debris and brushing up the road, making access up the bank much easier.
Their hard work is hugely appreciated.
