I FEEL I must respond to the ridiculous letters and front page coverage about Coun. Ian Hutchinson being a bully (Courant, October 12).

Coun. Hutchinson has always carried out he work in a professional and caring manner. He is very passionate about his job and takes it very seriously and is always there for his constituents should he be needed.

The Courant, I feel, should not have reported the front page article in the way it did – small photo of Coun. Dale and large photo of Coun. Hutchinson. You would think he had been found guilty of murder!

Coun. Dale was wrong in taking the matter further, as even the group leader Peter Jackson ruled no further action should be taken.

Hopefully, now Coun. Hutchinson will be allowed to continue his work and not be bullied into resigning his position in the Conservative Party.
