I refer to your reports on local developments proposed on green belt land and plans for a new fore station at Hexham (Courant, December 12).
There should be no development on greenfield land around Hexham until the present brownfield land is used.
There should be no new retail units built until all the present vacant retail unites are in use.
As for the fire station, modernise it to keep it in its central location.
