THE rather un-edifying scramble for cover has begun, as our town councillors attempt to justify their indefensible stance on the proposed wind turbine at Hexham Racecourse (Courant Letters, May 18)).
This industrial monstrosity went through unchallenged by our local representatives.
Those who profess to represent us have in reality treated us with contempt.
