THE headline surely said it all! (Courant, September 18). It read: ‘All clear for the Duke’s plans’. How true is it.
The Duke of Northumberland and his agent make sure that nothing takes place in Prudhoe or other Tyne Valley towns unless there is something in it in terms of pounds, shillings and pence.
Is not the duke aware that none of the Prudhoe folk want his plans? The tone of the public meetings should have made that quite clear.
But that message has either been completely ignored or has not sunk in!
