THERE will be a Churches Together Pentecost Walk on Sunday, June 8, starting at St George’s church, Mickley, at 2pm, then picking up/passing all the various village churches – Mount Pleasant Methodist church, the Quaker Meeting House, the Baptist church, St John’s in Meadowfield Road, and ending with a shared faith tea at the Methodist church on Mount View Terrace at approximately 3.30pm.
