TOMORROW will see one of the most popular events in Ponteland’s calendar: the parish flower show. This, the 37th annual show, takes place at the Memorial Hall and is open to the public from 1pm, with trophies presented at 4pm.

PONTELAND High School is celebrating yet another year of excellent A level results. Twenty five per cent of entries were awarded A* to A grades. Fifty per cent of entries were awarded A* to B grades and the overall pass rate (A* to E) was 98 per cent.
