THE recent 59th annual coffee morning in aid of Barnardo’s was a very successful event, raising a total of £834 on the day.
Of this, the home produce and cake stall raised £542 which was also supported by Mrs Shirley Knox of Barclay’s Bank and will be matched under Barclay’s Bank Pound for Pound charity scheme bringing the grand total raised for Barnardo’s to a magnificent £1,376.
The organisers would like to thank everyone who helped and contributed.
