Play area safety work

WYLAM Parish Council is looking into to replacing a broken swing in the play area at Hagg Bank, and perhaps make further improvements.
A safety inspection was recently carried out on play areas in Wylam. The swing was brought to the council’s attention by a local resident.
At the last council meeting, Coun. Melanie Dunnett said the facilities were well used.
Chairman Coun. Brian Japes said some research was necessary, but the council agreed in principle to review the equipment.
