Charity makes a return

Sunday sees the return of one of what is becoming one of the most eagerly anticipated charity sports events in the North Tyne valley.
The charity cricket match between Bellingham’s Rose and Crown and West Woodburn’s Bay Horse has attracted many a spectator over the past few years.
It starts at 1.30pm at Riverdale Hotel and is followed by a winners’ presentation and charity karaoke at The Black Bull, Bellingham.
It’s all in aid of the Great North Air Ambulance and will see the Rose and Crown defending their title.
