Man found unconscious in Darras Hall

POLICE are investigating after a man was found unconscious with head injuries in Ponteland.

The 39-year-old was found lying on Darras Road at 11.44pm on Saturday, December 22, by a passerby.
The emergency services were called and the man was taken to Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary, where his condition is described stable.
Officers are carrying out house to house inquiries in the area to establish how the man may have sustained the injuries.
