A MULTICULTURAL carnival to celebrate Christmas was held at the Meridian nursery school last month.
Students of the Meridian Primary and Hearing Impaired School, in Greenwich, dressed up to raise money for new books in the read-at-home library. Parents, teachers and children from reception and years one and two also got involved in the raffles, lucky dips, and face painting.Childrens performer Flaky Jake added some spirit to the afternoon.
Headteacher Sarah Truscott said: "Everyone had a marvellous time, all the parents and older kids got involved as well."
Money raised goes to the parents and childrens library.
