VILLAGERS in Elsdon have paid tribute to a “vibrant and enthusiastic” member of their community who was killed in a quad biking accident.

Liz McIntosh

Liz McIntosh (64) died last Friday when her vehicle overturned on a road at her 700 acre sheep and cattle farm, West Todholes, which she ran with the help of a part-time shepherd.
The quad bike had overturned, trapping her underneath. She was pronounced dead at the scene and an inquest was opened and adjourned by North Northumberland coroner, Tony Brown on Tuesday.
