Energy deal for Tynedale residents

NORTHUMBERLAND County Council has joined forces with 11 other local authorities to create one of the first UK collective energy switching schemes.

Those interested in saving money on energy bills are asked to register by Friday, December 14, so the partnership can arrange an auction, in which the energy supplier offering the cheapest tariff will win the contract.
Those registered will then receive a personal offer, with no obligation to accept.
