Silvermoor Ltd, a Northumberland-based company, has appointed two new Regional Account Managers, Peter Forster and Holly Stacey.

Both new recruits are equestrian sales specialists with a dual responsibility towards forage-related sales across the country.

Mr Forster will operate out of Haydon Bridge, Northumberland, overseeing the northern territory, while Ms Stacey will cover the southern region from her base in Axminster, Devon.

The pair have an impressive track record with a combined 39 years of experience in the equestrian industry.

Mr Forster has served at major companies, such as Newbridge Straw Products also known as Nedz Bed and Bedmax.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Forster said: "I am delighted to be joining the company when there is so much excitement around the Silvermoor brand.

"It’s a real opportunity to grow the business especially as they launch new products."

Adding to Mr Forster's enthusiasm, Ms Stacey said: "I’m very much looking forward to catching up with retailers and wholesalers over the coming months to discuss how we can help to support their business needs."

The new appointees will contribute to the sales of the entire inventory from haylage to Grassabix, Treatsies to Silvermoor Swingers, besides the Silvermoor poultry range.

Since its inception in 2005, Silvermoor has gradually expanded its product range, increasing the number of items from two to 20.

The brand now carries significant weight in the equine world, and also produces private label goods for market-leading brands.

Ralph Thompson, the managing director at Silvermoor, spoke optimistically about the new additions.

Mr Thompson said: "These new appointments come ahead of a busy year for us here at Silvermoor as we are set to re-launch some fan favourites in a different form and launch new product Eco Treatsies.

"Peter and Holly will be responsible for growing existing sales in their respective areas to deliver growth across all products in the company."

The duo will be joining the established sales team, working in conjunction with Liz Smith, who takes care of the Scottish territory.
