Bake Me Happy Sweet Treats
This business, which delivers to areas including Prudhoe, Winlaton and Blaydon, was one of the most recommended cake makers by readers.

Tyne Riverside Cafe, Prudhoe

One review said: "I bought myself a treat box with four yummy cakes in and wow they were all amazing. I couldn't stop eating them, I ate all of them myself within a day. The last one made a delicious breakfast."
El Bakes, Haydon Bridge
Another popular cake maker was El Bakes, which delivers to Haydon Bridge and Hexham.
Recommended by Bethany Riley, Amy Riley and Danielle Lawson, El Bakes offers bespoke brownies, cupcakes, tray bakes and treat boxes.
One review said: "Amazing the cake I ordered was perfection and was everything I wanted what a show stopper, couldn’t have asked for anything more just outstanding."
Baked by Ashley, Acomb
Based in Acomb, it was recommended by Sadie Johnson and Jodie Waugh, who said: "Baked by Ashley is amazing. Cakes to order and at Hexham Abbey sometimes."
