A CUMBRIAN resident has been recognised for his artistic talent which breathes new life into discarded objects.
The work of Muhammad Shaan, who lives in Carlisle, is on display at the Queen's Hall Gallery in Hexham until April 27.
The exhibition titled “Resonance Renewed” features artworks using found objects and timber offcuts from Cumberland.
Muhammad, a visual artist and designer, moved to Britain from Pakistan 12 years ago and his work reflects his multicultural influences and experiences gained over the years.
The art created for this exhibition began when Muhammed found his calling in breathing new life into discarded objects. His work is inspired by the potential of carbon capture and the preservation of our environment.
Through his pieces crafted from reclaimed materials sourced locally like wood offcuts, he also advocates for environmental consciousness and repurposing of resources.
The exhibition runs daily and walk-in entry is free.
