WE shared the news that Kate Middleton, The Princess of Wales, had been diagnosed with cancer.
The Princess revealed her diagnosis in an emotional video message on Friday, March 22.
The future Queen began a course of “preventative chemotherapy” late in February but is said to have a positive mindset for her recovery and is in good spirits, describing herself as “well and getting stronger every day”.
Our readers wished her and the Royal Family well.
Ian Birdsall said: "Get well soon Kate speedy recovery," and Carol Shearer said: "I hope the media will now leave her alone. When will people realise she is a human being, a wife, a mother? I’m ashamed of how people have reacted recently over a photo. Let her be! Best wishes Kate, and speedy recovery."
John Howdon said: "I wish people would stop hounding them, and let them deal with it as a family."
Brenda Piper said: "You and your family with our King are in my prayers."
Tori Wood said the news was "so sad", echoed by Lisa Hudspith.
Paula Cram added: "I feel sorry for Kate having to explain her personal health issues just to shut the media up. Hopefully she will be left to recover from such a horrible disease."
