A POPULAR community fair will fill a town's streets this summer.
The annual Prudhoe Community Street Fair will be held on June 2 on Front Street in the town centre.
It involves fairground rides and craft, trade and community stalls, with a variety of hot and cold food on offer.
Ken Stow, a Street Fair committee member, said: "We could do with some volunteers on the day to help with sorting things out and clearing up afterwards, currently there's three of us and we do the whole lot between us. When you've had up to 4,500 people there's often quite a lot of clearing up to do."
The fair will run from 11am until 4pm and Front Street will be closed between 6am and 6pm. There will be diversions in place.

Prudhoe South councillor Gordon Stewart said: "This is a huge event located in the town centre, which attracts a large number of local people and also many others who travel here to enjoy the stalls and rides. This gives a positive boost to local businesses on the day and afterwards, as visitors can see what this town has to offer."
