A CALENDAR of Christmas events will brighten the streets of Ponteland.
Rotary Ponteland will organise a range of Christmas events to entertain even the toughest Grinch through December.
Santa's Sleigh will travel through Ponteland and Darras Hall on December 1-2, offering young children the chance to meet Santa.
Santa will also visit the Christmas Market, which will return to Ponteland Memorial Hall on December 3, bringing craft stalls, festive foods and Christmas gifts for the whole family.
Rotary Ponteland Members and Friends in fancy dress will tour local pubs and clubs collecting money for charity on Friday, December 8 followed on Saturday, December 9 with a Christmas Disco at The Diamond Inn on Main Street.
The main charity beneficiary from all of these events is Children North East who provide life-changing services and support to babies, children and young families within the North East.
Rounding off the Rotary Club's events, there will be a Carol Concert with the Bedlington Salvation Army Band at Ponteland Methodist Church on Thursday, December 14, with proceeds from the event going to the Salvation Army.
