A CHINESE takeaway has received a new food hygiene rating, months after a zero rating from the Food Standards Agency.
Lucky Palace on Main Street in Haltwhistle now has a five-star food hygiene rating according to the FSA's website after being handed a zero hygiene rating on July 11.
Hygienic food handling, cleanliness and condition of the facilities and building and management of food safety were all rated as good.
A spokesperson from Lucky Palace said they addressed the issue by hiring a reliable and professional cleaning service to deep clean the facilities.
