A PUB company is seeking a new publican to take on one of its successful gastropubs located in Corbridge.
The Grade II listed Wheatsheaf pub in Corbridge is managed by the Stonegate Group, the largest pub company in the UK, and is transitioning to a new operating style.
A spokesperson for Stonegate said: “The Wheatsheaf is currently open and trading however there are future plans for the pub that will see a change of style of operation as it moves into our leased and tenanted division. The Stonegate Group is advertising the pub as a retail partnership tenancy, with a potential turnover of £477,000 and a guide rent price per annum of £39,000.
Stonegate's advert says the pub is 'a wonderful opportunity' to take on.
"The Wheatsheaf is a wonderful opportunity to take on a well-presented, already successful business, in a fantastic area. With original fires and stone walls, this pub is attractive to locals and visitors alike with many traditional features.
"There are two trading areas. A focus on good quality food and a great drinks experience will enable this pub to develop further. Another amenity of this pub is its six well-presented letting rooms, ideal for an additional revenue stream.

Private accommodation consists of two bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen, ideal for a couple.
