A TYNEDALE festival is returning after four years.

The much-loved Stocksfield Festival will return on Saturday, August 26 after a four year absence.

The event will take place from 11am to 4pm and will be placed at the playing fields beside Stocksfield Cricket Club.

On the day, there will be plenty of activities for every age including: scrambling up, sliding down, jumping high on a climbing wall, pirate ship bouncy slide and bungee trampoline.

Other activities include archery, craft with ARTventurers, pet small friendly animals, beat the goalie, and more.

Attendees can also find handmade gifts and treats in the craft tent, be amazed at close-up magic from Paul Dewhurst, listen to some of the best local performers, enjoy a range of street foods, pause for a cuppa in the tea tent.

In the music marquee features Tom Cantwell & Caroline Guirr, Rob Johnson, Marshall Nattrass, Calum Tordoff & Chris Reay, Sam Shields and Georgina Gale – encompassing classic covers to original songwriting.

Tickets for the festival are £15 family or £5/£3 adult/child and many activities on the field are then free. You can also pay cash on the gate or online StocksfieldFestival.eventbrite.co.uk
