"Thanks to everyone who entered and helped out with floats, especially local businesses/haulage who made vehicles available- the parade really is the heart of the carnival.

Hexham Courant:

"The organisation running up to Carnival is alot of work but it is nothing compared to the actual weekend. The committee is very grateful for all of your lovely comments and appreciation as Carnival is always about our lovely community.

Hexham Courant:

"We have had numerous helpers over the weekend whose contribution is invaluable and we wouldn't manage without them. You all know who you are and we are thankful for all your help and support (clean up was hard work we need more helpers next year).
