MORE than £900 was raised for children to enjoy school enrichment activities.
The long-awaited return of real-life performances of Christmas songs meant Bellingham Primary School packed out the Town Hall and performed 'A Twinkly Treetop Tale' on Friday, December 16.

Both the afternoon and evening performances were standing room only and a huge success. The 'Friends of Bellingham Primary' organised a bottle pull and raffle which along with a small entrance donation managed to raise £905.
This money will be used to offer subsidised enrichment activities allowing all children the opportunity to experience extra-curricular activities without an overwhelming cost to families.
The school's previous trip to the Theatre Royal pantomime was heavily subsidised from its fundraising efforts and an experience the children thoroughly enjoyed.
The children were all fantastic with great costumes, singing and character, in front of more than 100 people.
Singing was accompanied by Mr Tait on the piano, who matched each child's style.
The story was a combination of the Nativity and a message of self confidence, reminding everyone to 'let your light shine out bright in everything that you do.'
Headteacher Mrs Wendy Goddard passed on her thanks to all school staff for continued enthusiasm and to volunteers for helping out, and to everyone who came along to enjoy the show.
