AFTER a two year hiatus, Tynedale Harriers Pie 'n' Peas 10 kilometre run will return on Wednesday, July 6 at 7.30pm.
The Tynedale Pie 'n' Peas 10K Road Race is organised by Tynedale Harriers and Athletic Club, which is based at Wentworth Leisure Centre in Hexham.
The route will start in Ovington village and finish in the Tyne Riverside Park at Low Prudhoe.
Organisers have asked participants to avoid parking in Ovingham village, as inconsiderate parking may mean they cannot hold the race in future years.

The race headquarters is at the Adam and Eve pub in Prudhoe, which is where runners collect their race numbers from.
Participants need to collect race numbers from the pub on the night of the run.
More than 350 people have entered the race and online entries have now closed.
There will be limited entries available on the night on a first-come, first-served basis from the race headquarters, which will cost £22.
There will be a water station in Wylam, at approximately the half-way point, and there will be water at the finish line.
After the race, runners are to go to the Adam and Eve pub, to claim a serving of pie and peas before the prize presentation at 9pm.
All prizes are gift vouchers for Prudhoe sportswear shop, Run Unlimited, and will vary based on a number of factors including participants' age on the race day.
The race has been sponsored by Hartlepool-based land management consultancy business, Cecil M Yuill Land Management.
Entries are also now open for Tynedale Harriers' 'Jelly Tea' 10 Mile Road Race, which will take place on Sunday, August 21.
This route travels from Ovingham, through Bywell and back along to Tyne Riverside Park at Low Prudhoe, followed by jelly, sandwiches and tea at the race headquarters at the old school in Ovingham.
