THE curlews have returned and our resident frog spawn spotter has reported the first clumps of frogs spawn in the ditches at Quakers Hole. This sighting is a week later than last year – hardly surprising considering the snow and ice.

Humshaugh village notes
THERE is a puppet workshop being held in the village hall on Sunday, from 2pm until 4pm, organised by our very progressive Humshaugh Arts Project team. Those between five and 12 years old can apply for a ticket at the school or our village shop.
