THE Joiners Bank project which is the village’s very own nature park, (featuring a walking path, exercise equipment and an array of horticultural produce) should be completed over the next four to six weeks after a delay due to the poor weather conditions which severely disrupted building work.

IT was great news to hear that the Black Bull was open again and that the new management team, husband and wife Nigel Pattinson and Alison Cassidy, are aiming for a traditional and family-friendly village pub. Alison had previously worked in the Black Bull and both are well-known in the area, so the re-opening got off to a flying start.
