Robson puts Tynedale on TV

SOME of the jewels in Tynedale’s crown are set to be showcased on prime time television as part of a series featuring actor and presenter, Robson Green.

Hadrian’s Wall, Kielder Water and Forest Park and Hexham Abbey will all be explored by the Hexham-born star in the final episode of the eight-part series, Tales from Northumberland with Robson Green, which is due to be aired on ITV at 8pm on Monday, December 23.

Figures show that, during the transmission of each episode in the series, the www.visitnorthumberland.com has received an average of three times as many hits as usual.
