Ovingham village notes

THE next monthly meeting for the Ovingham Women’s Institute will be held in the reading room at 7.30pm on Monday, July 14, when the talk by speaker Martin Tuckwell will be entitled Because I Am A Girl.

A childhood memento competition will also take place at the meeting this month.

You don’t have to be a member or want to join to come along, simply come as a guest for tea, biscuits and a chat. Make new friends and find common interests.

Telephone Jean Dougherty on (01661) 835728 or Polly Sampson on (01661) 833411 if you would like someone to collect you. Otherwise just turn up on the evening, you will be very welcome.
