TWO people suffered minor injuries after their car overturned in the Allen Valley.
Police and the fire service were called to the A686 near Whitfield shortly after 6pm on Sunday after the car had left the road.
No other vehicles were involved.
STREET lights have gone out at the east end of Haltwhistle, a councillor claimed at the September meeting of Haltwhistle Town Council.
Coun. David Watson is concerned over five or six lights in the area where Avenue St Meen meets the A69 trunk road.
Northumberland county councillor Ian Hutchinson said street lighting problems could be reported via the county council’s website.
A DROP-IN event takes place in Haltwhistle on Monday to help people with sensory loss.
Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is joining forces with Northumberland County Blind Association for the session, at Haltwhistle Library on Westgate, from 9.45am to 3.45pm.

THREE watercolour paintings donated by Queen Mary were auctioned off to raise money for a new Darby and Joan club in Hexham.
A site had already been bought, but a further £6,000 was needed to run the club for the elderly.
The auction, opened by Viscountess Allendale, saw the paintings raise over £8 for the fund.
