Horsley village notes

BY the time these notes are read, residents of Horsley will have witnessed the effect the closure of Ovingham Bridge has had on traffic levels

Those who regularly patronise businesses in Prudhoe will have to get used to a rather circuitous route, and our neighbouring villages may be experiencing an increase in traffic.

THE service in Horsley village church on Sunday, July 6, will be led by members of the congregation and starts at the usual time of 11am.

HORSLEY Women’s Institute will meet on Monday, July 7, when the speaker is Joanne Newbury of the Wildlife and Wetlands Trust. Her talk is entitled Birds, conservation and fun stuff.

JAZZ fans are reminded to get their tickets for the Dean Stockdale Trio at the Hearth on Friday, July 11. The tickets can be booked at the Hearth Cafe.
